He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Barrentine and Mabel Barrentine; his wife Gloria; and his brothers, Bob and James Barrentine.

He is survived by: his son Glenn W. Barrentine Jr. (Barbara) of Millsboro; his grandchildren, Mark Barrentine, Brandy Lachey (Dave), Rebecca Barrentine and Christopher Barrentine; and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Roland, Bella, Bentley, Brenan and Aurora.
