Ethel M. Norwood Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethel M. Norwood (Millsboro, Delaware), who passed away on January 24, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldred Pritchett and Edith Pritchett; and her siblings, Thelma Seth, Mary Doughty (Clyde), Doris Norwood (Bobby), Elizabeth Powell (Daniel), Lowan Pritchett-Pitt, David Pritchett, Charles Pritchett and Daniel Pritchett.

She is survived by: her husband Mervin Norwood; her daughter Holly Norwood (Nathaniel); her nephew Ryan Pritchett; her grandchildren, Destinee Norwood of Millsboro, DE, Tabitha Norwood of Millsboro, DE, Arzell Norwood (Jessica) of Millsboro, DE and Chaz Norwood of Millsboro, DE; her great grandchildren, Rhianna, Zoe, Isaac, Luna, Aria, Ariss, Zyaire, Scarlette, Azariah and Azeire; and her siblings, Eldred Pritchett, Jr. (Myrna), Samuel Pritchett (Desiree) and Josephine Pritchett. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Millsboro Sda Church (30007 Cordrey Rd, Millsboro, DE 19966). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery (26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966).
