It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Phillips (Millsboro, Delaware), born in Stanford, Kentucky, who passed away on March 20, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Roy Phillips. He is survived by: his mother Veneda Phillips (Caudill) of Corbin, KY; his wife Linda Phillips of Camden, DE; his children, Erica "Doc" Melvin (David Melvin) of Smyrna, DE, Heather "Kiddo" Gill (Joshua Gill) of Dover, DE, Michael Lynn of Mesa, AZ and John Lynn of Tucson, AZ; his grandchildren, Keaton, Lyssa, Preston and Jameson; and his siblings, Delores (James "Big Bro"), Spalding of Corbin, KY, Diane Fields of Corbin, KY, Tom (Emily Phillips) of Harrodsburg, KY, Wayne (Wendy Phillips) of Ringgold, GA and Greg Phillips (Allison Asher) of Corbin, KY. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions to the National Kidney Foundation – Maryland & Delaware and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
