It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Bucheri Holmes of Millsboro, Delaware, who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvatore Salafia and Concetta Rose Salafia. She is survived by: her husband William James Holmes, Sr.; her children, William Jr. (Robin Holmes), Joseph (Julie Holmes), Mark (Raquel Holmes), Lisa (Daniel Gray) and Mary Beth (Michael O'Neill); her grandchildren, Morgan, Michael, Miranda Holmes, Melissa Rye, Steven Jaron, Jeremy Levee, Breanna, Graham Dye, Aliza Holmes (Leonard DeFino), Marissa Holmes, Samuel Holmes, Friane Mitch Concepcion, Nikolaos, Natalie, Dominic, Alexander Gray, Ryan and Madison O'Neill; her great grandchildren, Asher Dye, Raven Jaron, McKinley Rye and Melbourne Rye; and her sister Mary Ann Corona of York, PA..
