He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E. Klein and Joyce Linkous Walter; and his pet Roxie. He is survived by: his wife Judy Klein of Millsboro; his daughter Valerie Snyder (Daniel) of Millsboro; his stepchildren, Michele VanDyke of Selbyville and Henry VanDyke, Jr. (Jeannie); and his siblings, Ira Stephen Moore (Lynn) and Judith Ann Willey (Robert) of Cambridge. He is also survived by several grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
