With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles B. Scott Sr. (Millsboro, Delaware), born in Georgetown, Delaware, who passed away on February 25, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Glenn Scott; his siblings, Glenn Scott (Bud), John Scott (Jack), Donald Lee Scott, James Edward Scott, Steve Scott, Barbara S. Johnson and Doris Lloyd; his siblings-in-law, Carlton Workman, James Lloyd and Geraldine Scott; and his daughter-in-law Mary E. Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ellen Scott; his son Charles B. Scott, Jr.; his siblings, Richard E. Johnson, Sr. and Ellen Workman; his sisters-in-law, Jean Scott and Judy Scott; and his close friends, Austin Okie, Robert Truitt, Sr., Joe Dalessandro, Sam Wilson and Phyllis Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Zoar United Methodist Church, in care of Carisa Pepper, 24463 Gravel Hill Road, Millsboro, DE 19966.
