He was predeceased by: his parents, William Truitt and Mary Truitt; his wife Helen M. Truitt; his daughter Cindy Robinson; his son-in-law Manaen Robinson; and his siblings, Jean Hudson, Elizabeth Rayner and William Truitt.
He is survived by: his daughter Bonnie VanBuskirk (Edgar Palmer); his grandchildren, Joshua (CA), Chelsea (England) and Brianna VanBuskirk (CO); his brothers, Virgil (Charlene) and Melvin Truitt; and his sister-in-law Wilma Graham (Bruce). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
