He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Desiderio; and his brothers, Al Desiderio, Salvatore Desiderio, Mario Desiderio, Dante Desiderio and Phil Desiderio.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony Desiderio, Jr. (Lisa) of Garnet Valley, PA, Michele Desiderio (Mark Hecksher) of Millsboro, DE and John Desiderio (Heather) of Greenwood, DE; his grandsons, Anthony Desiderio, III (Karissa), Christopher Desiderio (Katelyn), Nicholas Desiderio (Kim), Joshua Desiderio and Zachary Desiderio; his great grandchildren, Anthony Desiderio IV, Ashton Desiderio, Ava Desiderio and Scotland Desiderio; and his brother Victor Desiderio. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services (32013 Long Neck Rd, Millsboro, DE 19966). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Tony's name to Bayhealth Cancer Center, 640 South State St., Dover, DE 19901.
