He was predeceased by: his parents, Lydia Ellen and Harry Bernard Quillen; his siblings, Stewart Quillen and Irene Holston; and his brother-in-law Granville Holston (Bozie).
He is survived by: his wife Nancy L. Quillen (Collins); his daughters, Penny Bixby (Kevin) of Dover, DE and Susan E. Smith (David) of New Cumberland, PA; his grandchildren, Ashley Delgadillo (Joey) of Martinez, CA, Dustin Bixby of Santa Ana, CA, Shane Smith of State College, PA, Justin Smith (Melissa) of Bellefonte, PA and Adam Smith (Cat) of Millersville, PA; and his great grandchildren, Levi Carter Smith and Thea Jane Smith of Bellefonte, PA..
