He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace C. Johnson and Carrie B. Johnson; and his wife Geraldine Sue Tifft Johnson. He is survived by: his daughter Christy Gers (Frederick Gers IV); his grandsons, Jayson Stubbs and Frederick Gers V of Chincoteague, VA; his brother H. Terry Johnson (Becky) of Millsboro; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Tifft of Chincoteague and Henry Tifft (Pat) of Seaford.
