With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley T. Phillips of Milford, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on April 28, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Shirley's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Shirley has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Taylor and Virginia Taylor (Gallaher); and her husband Edward M. She is survived by: her sons, William (Eileen) of Bear, George (Linda) of Lewes and Robert (Karen) of Greenbackville, VA. She is also survived by five grandsons; three great-granddaughters; and four great-grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shirley's memory to a charity of the donor's choice.
