Ruth Ann Dickerson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Ann Dickerson of Milford, Delaware, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 14, 2024 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Ann Dickerson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Adams and Ruth A. Morris; her grandson Joseph L. McIlvain; her brother William M. Adams; and her stepsiblings, William E. Morris Jr., Wayne Morris, Betty Klapp and Diane Simpson.
She is survived by: her husband Jay Dickerson; her children, J. R. Dickerson (Kim) and Paige McIlvain (Donald); her grandchildren, Jessica Ritter (Brooks), Jeremy Dickerson (Veronica) and John McIlvain (Ciana); her great grandchildren, Hannah Cannady Dickerson, Ari Dickerson, Austin Dickerson, Hannah Ritter, Sophia Ritter and Ava Ritter; and her sister Leona Adams Clendaniel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lofland Funeral Home (102 Lakeview Ave, Milford, DE 19963). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
