She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony J. Ambruso and Ruth Colvin Ambruso; her husbands, Chick Hand and Tom Dyer; her daughter Jeanna Hand Elliott; and her granddaughter Lauren M. Myers.
She is survived by: her children, Michael A. Hand (Dana) of Lithia, FL, L. Michelle John (Robert) of Rehoboth Beach, DE, Joan Sampson of Barrington, NJ, Holly Hand (William Walker) and Chris Thacher of Concord, CA; her grandchildren, Stephen J. Hughes, Courtney L. Marshall (Joshua), Laura E. Peper (James) and Robert A. John, III (Shannon); and her brothers, Michael J. Ambruso, Sr. of Dover, DE and Anthony J. Ambruso, Jr. of West Deptford, NJ. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
