She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Bennett and Mary Bennett (Phillips); her husband Raymond W. Spicer; and her siblings, Phyllis Hill, Barbara Walls and Charles Bennett.

She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Johnson (Walton "Poncho" Johnson, III); and her grandson Colby B. Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Avenue U.M.C., 20 N. Church St., Milford, DE 19963 or to Crossover Cups Mission, 2607 Woodruff Road, Suite E. #418, Simpsonville, S.C. 29681.
