We are sad to announce that on March 20, 2025, Sandra A. Burkett of Middletown, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Burkett and Joseph Burkett; and her siblings, Jacquelyn Woods, Robert Burkett, Janet Pierce, Joseph Burkett, Herman Burkett, Milton Burkett, Charlotte Burkett and Carolyn Bogia.
She is survived by: her son Michael Burkett; her grandchildren, Makayla Burkett and Morgan Burkett; and her siblings, Lee Burkett and Ellen Sobieski.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home (212 E Justis St, Wilmington, DE 19804). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
The family would appreciate contributions in Sandy's memory to Five Points Fire Company.
