It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard H. Wehmeyer of Middletown, Delaware, who passed away on November 5, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Doris; his sister Elaine Hickok; his parents, Andrew Wehmeyer and Edna Wehmeyer; and his grandparents, Oscar and Olga Hopfer.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard (Loterly) and William (Karin); his grandchildren, Richard, David, Sarah, Elizabeth, Anneliese and William; and his brother Robert (Mary Jo). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the LifeHouse Church (101 Karins Blvd, Townsend, DE 19734). A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
