He was predeceased by: his wife Doris; his sister Elaine Hickok; his parents, Andrew Wehmeyer and Edna Wehmeyer; and his grandparents, Oscar and Olga Hopfer.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard (Loterly) and William (Karin); his grandchildren, Richard, David, Sarah, Elizabeth, Anneliese and William; and his brother Robert (Mary Jo). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
