He is survived by: his daughter Wendy Slater of Georgia; his wife Sharyn Slater; his sons, Andrew Slater (Bethany) of Newark, DE, David Slater of Newark, DE and Richard Jr.; his brother Ronald Slater of Mount Joy, PA; and his sister-in-law Janis Melton (Roy) of Cochranville, PA. He is also survived by his wife, children, daughter-in-law and darling grandchildren.
