She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ron Burkett; her children, Greg Burkett and Laura Burkett Fox; her grandchildren, Russell, Raegan Fox and Holden Burkett; her parents, Charles Twigg and Doris Twigg of Wilmington; her son-in-law Stuart Fox; her sister Barbara Twigg of Falls Church, VA; her nephews, Jackson Lehr and Luke Rabin; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Aerin, Jason and Vera; her cousin Bill Flanagan; her aunt Laura Belle Figgs; her cousin Brenda Short; and also Tess Dixon.
Her difficulties with Parkinson's brought them back to Delaware to be close to family.
