She is survived by: her husband Alton J. Wharton, Jr.; her children, John "Jack" (Bonnie) of Middletown, DE, Daniel of New Castle, DE, Paul (Suzanne) of Middletown, DE, Lorrie Scott (Jimmy) of Toccoa, GA and Linda Smith (David) of Bear, DE; and her sister Ruby Rice of York, PA. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
