He was predeceased by: his sons, David and Brian. He is survived by: his wife Norma Dunn (Cairns); his children, Daniel Dunn (Wendy) of Waldwick, NJ, Debra Weixel (Stephen) of Haskell, NJ and Denise Erlandson of Riva, MD; and his brother Donald Dunn of Middletown, NY.. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
