She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Way Johnson and Hazel Rothwell Johnson; her son Patrick McDonough; her grandson Anthony Klimasewski; her son-in-law Bill Parson; and her brother-in-law William McMahon.
She is survived by: her husband A. Joseph McDonough; her daughters, Leah Parson of Elkton, MD, Kathryn Hutton (Albie) of Milford, DE and Margaret McClay (Kit) of Earleville, MD; her grandchildren, Guinnevere McDonough, MariClare Pochvatilla (Jack), Patrick Hutton (Sarah), Marlene Rafferty (Ryan), Bridget Hayman (James), Stephen McClay (Heather) and Katelyn Simpson (Sam); and her sister Marlene McMahon of Berlin, MD. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (454 Bow St, Elkton, MD 21921). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Chesapeake City Elementary School Library, in care of Hicks Home for Funerals, P.A. at 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921.
