With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Shively Nickerson (Marydel, Delaware), who passed away on March 18, 2018 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister Phyllis Evans. She is survived by: her husband William Nickerson of Marydel; her children, Lisa Brittingham (Craig Stephens) of Lewes and Stephen Nickerson (Paula Hovington) of Camden; her sister Carolyn Simpson of Camden; her grandchildren, Morgan Hovington, Robert Stephens, Tyler Nickerson, Matthew Butcher (Kimmie) and Chase Brittingham (Keira); and her great grandchildren, Nolan Nickerson, Blake Nickerson and Josiah Hovington.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Marydel Fire Company, 110 Firehouse Lane, Marydel, DE 19964 or St. Jude's Children's Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
