He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Turney and Emerson Turney; his wives, Nora Jean and Kathryn Hanna; and his sisters, Phyliss and Joan.

He is survived by: his sons, Ross and David; his stepson Bill; and his daughter-in-law Dawn. He is also survived by 4 granddaughters, a grandson, 2 great grand daughters, and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
