She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry Hayes and Esther Felts Hayes; her husband Carl; and her daughter Janet. She is survived by: her sons, Glenn (Bonnie) and Ronald Wood (Regina); her grandchildren, Pamela Balentine, Steven Wood, Angela Kelley, Rebecca Thomas, Robert Wood and Brian Wood; and her sisters, Aline of Millers Creek, NC and Rowena (Ray) of Reno, NV..
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Grace Presbyterian Church (350 McKee Road). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church and/or Amedisys Compassionate Care Hospice.
