He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson E. Spence and Catherine Bell Spence; and his siblings, Neoma Alinda Pritchett Spence (Tootsie), Alice Spence Virdin (Ginger) of Virginia, Ralph J. Spence, William Spence and Susan Powell Spence.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kay Meding-Spence; his children, David Accetta, Michael Accetta, Stacey Crockett, Angie Spence, Johnny Spence, Kimberly Foster and Jesse-James Spence; his brother Curtis Spence; and his cousins, Barry, Ivy Spence, Gwen and Skipper. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great-grands and many extended family and friends.
