He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Raney and Lyona Smith Clark; and his wife Emma-Jean Raney. He is survived by: his children, Teresa Mellin (Bob, Lisa Shimkus) and Billy Raney; his grandchildren, Elisa White, Laura Griffith (Joel, Aimee Reed), Tommy Shimkus and Andy Shimkus; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Alex, Ellie, Madelyn, Natalee, Ben and Carley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
