He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Silver and Antenette Figaro Silver. He is survived by: his wife Jeannie Glass Silver of Magnolia; his children, Robert Silver, Jr. of Viola, Stacey Heverin (Bernie) of Dover, Kristina Levering (Mark) of Dover, Patrick Glass of Dover and Jessica Heverin (Dan) of Dover; and his sister Paulette Donkerslott (Richie). He is also survived by ten grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Marine Toys for Tots Foundation 18251 Quantico Gateway Dr, Triangle, Va. 22172.
