Marlyn L. Gourley Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marlyn L. Gourley of Magnolia, Delaware, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 25, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustice Durham and Martha Carney Durham. She is survived by: her husband Joseph W. Gourley, Sr. of Magnolia; her children, Brenda Isdell (Bobby) of Onley, VA, Cheryl Price of Phoenix, AZ and Joseph "Joe" Gourley (Martha) of Dover; her brother Robert Durham of Bridgeton, NJ; and her grandchildren, Audrea, Robert Earl of Brian James, Stephanie Fallon, Virginia "Ginny" and Chelsea. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Forest Grove Seventh Day Adventist Church (4950 Pearsons Corner Rd, Dover, DE 19904). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 555 E. Loockerman Street, Suite 200, Dover, DE 19901.
