She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Lilly (Friedrich) and Orville Rosevelt Halliday; her former husband Alvin B. Atkinson; her stepson Rodney Marvel; and her siblings, Harry, Orville, Myrtle, Ethel, Doris and Betty.
She is survived by: her husband Edward L. Marvel; her children, Alvin B. Atkinson (Wanda) of Smyrna, Norma A. Atkinson of Milford, Irene Gordon of New Castle, Pearl Norman (Carl) of Dover and Vernard Atkinson of Dover; and her stepchildren, Karen Ridgley (Doug) of Dover, Randy Marvel (Marianne) of Marydel, DE and Bobby Marvel of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
