John Newlin Wootten Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Newlin Wootten of Magnolia, Delaware, who passed away on January 11, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester and Jenny; and his siblings, Wallace, Louis, Doyle, Wayne and Betty Shalley.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Newlin Wootten (Thomas L. Miglino) of Newark, DE and Gary Reed Wootten (Maisy J. Wootten) of Glen Mills, PA; his former wife Maureen C. Wootten of Dover; and his grandchildren, Jack Reed Wootten, Ryan Jacob Wootten and Molly Rae Wootten. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company or the SPCA of Dover or Camden.
