She is survived by: her children, Dorcell Spence, Adriene Browne and Melvin Crandel Smith (Rose); her sister Grace Brown; her sisters-in-law, Agnes Harris and Elizabeth Johnson (Albert); and her grandchildren, Tara McBride (Ronald), Melvin Eugene Smith (Alvina), Brett Smith (Kacee), Dennis Spence Jr. (Andrea) and Dominque Browne. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
