It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Veronica May Maurer of Long Neck, Delaware, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on September 1, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David McMillan and Mary McMillan; her husband Anthony Maurer; and her siblings, Elizabeth, Joseph, Edward, Anne, Robert and Albert.
She is survived by: her children, Mary McKiel, Katherine Dinkel (Ronald), Christopher Maurer, Joseph Maurer, Francis Maurer (Lisa) and Daniel Maurer (Homa); her grandchildren, Holly, Heather, Ryan, Thomas, Stacey, Krista, Michelle, Christopher, Anthony, Valerie, David, Jacob and Daniel; and her brother George McMillan. She is also survived by her six great-grandchildren.
Interment will be private. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, masks are required, and social distancing must be observed by all persons participating or attending any aspect of the services.
