He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Robert Abt, Sr. and Eleanor Abt (Mehrman); and his son Daniel Bendig, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his brother Gerald; his children, Danica Rose Bendig, Jennifer Boswell (John), Christopher and Paul Bendig; and his grandchildren, Isabella, Jadeon and Jacob. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
