He is survived by: his wife Erika Carlson (Putz); his brother Kenneth Carlson; his stepson Michael Putz (Riikka); his grandson Juho Putz (Ulla); his sisters-in-law, Carol Carlson and Hildegard Schlicht; his niece Bettina; his nephew Stefan; his siblings-in-law, Marianne Meinecke, Josef Putz (Alane) and Rudolph Putz (Irmgard); his nieces and nephews, Nicole, Thorsten Putz, Debora (Joe), Bonny (Stanley Petrauska), George (Tracy) and Todd Carlson; and his caregivers, Therese, Nancy, Jessica, Akita, Mone'y, Andrea and Angelica.
