She is survived by: her husband Tom Johnston; her parents, Richard Firth and Maureen Firth of Sarasota, Fla.; her husband Thomas W. Johnston of Dover; and her siblings, Barbara Lines of Tomball, Texas and Paul Firth of Morganville, N. J..
Service will be held Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, 11 a.m. at St. Benedict Church, Holmdel, N.J. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to: Little Creek Volunteer Fire Company, Inc., P.O. Box 327, 311 Main Street, Little Creek, DE 19961.
