He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mercer and Frances Mercer (Moore). He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Andy Macklin, Nathen Macklin (Beka) and Erin Messick (Luke); his grandchildren, Josh, Nick, Lonna, Abbey and Lucian; his sisters, Cheryl and Kay; and his siblings-in-law, Harry (Laurie), Ken and Anne. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and close friends.
