It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lela Jane Beachy of Lincoln, Delaware, born in Springs, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 16, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel D. Beachy and Annie M. Beachy (Hershberger); and her siblings, Claude, Alvie, Ivan Beachy and Margaret Hershberger (Beachy).
She is survived by: her husband Allen of Lincoln, DE; her brother Stan; her siblings-in-law, Joyce Beachy, Kaye Beachy and Virgil Hershberger (Ruth); her daughters, Sue (Art Kauffman), Priscilla (Melvin Sayer) and Donna (PJ Kurylak); and her caregiver Ruth Ann Hayes of Greenwood, DE. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wycliffe Bible Translators or Doctors Without Borders, two charities Lela wholeheartedly supported.
