It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deena A. Farrington of Lincoln, Delaware, who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Deena A. Farrington to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Dunn and Mattie B. Hurst; and her sister Gloria Thayer. She is survived by: her children, Lena Farrington, Taneesha Farrington and John Davis III; her siblings, Rosalyn Ingram (John), Virginia Atkinson, Rita Hurst, Rochelle Moore (Marshall), Alex Becton, Glendale Becton, Wilbert Hurst and Otha Hurst; her brother-in-law Leon Thayer; her uncle Herbert Becton; and her pet Winston. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Philadelphia Pentecostal Holiness Church (13724 S Old State Rd, Ellendale, DE 19941). A burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at the Milford Community Cemetery (300 S Rehoboth Blvd, Milford, DE 19963).
