He was predeceased by: his father William Edward Truitt; and his niece Glori Davies. He is survived by: his wife Karen Vignola Truitt; his sisters, Betty Reynolds of Milford, DE and Emily Derickson of Milton, DE; his nephews, Anthony Reynolds Jr. of Milford, DE and Chuck Derickson of Millsboro, DE; and his niece Celina McHugh of Milton, DE.
