In the sacred silence of farewell, Ruth is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Ruth's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Keeney and Margaret Keeney (Dickey); her husband James W. Sweeney Sr.; her grandson Josh Sweeney; and her brothers, James and John Keeney.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Ott, James W. Sweeney (Bonnie), John Sweeney, Joseph Sweeney (Ann) and Richard Sweeney (Sherry); and her siblings, Marie McNeil and Thomas Keeney. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and many nieces.
