She was predeceased by: her parents, Amor Perry McCommons and Ethel Elizabeth McCommons (Jackson); her husband Col. Thomas D. Byrne; and her siblings, Jayne M. Foard, Joanne M. Ernst, Mary Stawikey (Tish), Dora McCommons, Perry McCommons and Douglas McCommons.
She is survived by: her siblings, A. Marshall McCommons (Carol) of Lutz, FL, Jack McCommons (Rhonda) of Elkton, MD and Carol M. Swyka (Bobby) of Chesapeake City, MD. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and their families, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethel United Methodist Church (129 W 4th St, Lewes, DE 19958). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to Bethel United Methodist Church and sent in care of R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., PO Box 248, Rising Sun, MD 21911.
