With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael S. Hitchens (Lewes, Delaware), born in Odessa, Delaware, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 4, 2024 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jr. Hitchens and Frances Hitchens; his brother Charles III (Skip); his sister-in-law Joan; his sister Dorothy; and his brother-in-law Smokey Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Emma; his son Josh (Erin); his granddaughter Georgia; and his pet Henry.
