He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Hughes and Margaret Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Hughes of Lewes, DE; his sons, Joseph O'Leary (Tara) of Jackson, NJ, Robert Martin (Melissa) of Belle Mead, NJ and Christopher Martinez (Lauren) of Millstone, NJ; his brother Edward Hughes (Kathy) of Lewes, DE; and his grandchildren, Brandon Martin, Kaitlyn Martin, Sean O'Leary, Matthew Martinez, Sara Martinez and Kelly Martinez.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Bartholomew R. C. Church (470 Ryders Ln, East Brunswick, NJ 08816). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
