The memory of George William Nitsch (Lewes, Delaware), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on February 17, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, George William Nitsch Sr. and Rita Nitsch (Heaney); and his stepmother Gloria Nitsch (Purner). He is survived by: his wife Viki Nitsch; his daughters, Colleen Katz, Rita Yokell (Larry) of Colorado and Allison Joyce (Charlie) of Baltimore; his siblings, Edward Nitsch, Dean Nitsch (Jessica), Mary Wilson (Bill) and Betsy Ballwanz (Mitch); and his grandchildren, Kayla Mitchell (Dylan), Rachael Warren (Kyle), Abigail Young, Bryce Young, MJ and Kai Joyce. He is also survived by his family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Bill to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
