It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Victoria Brown of Lewes, Delaware, who passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Kirlin and Francis X. Kirlin. She is survived by: her sisters, Alice and Theresa; her sons-in-law, Gary Hagerty and Curtis Mendenhall; her husband John M. Brown (Jack); her children, Alice Mendenhall of West Grove, PA, John Brown (Donna) of Milton, DE., Diane Hagerty of Wilmington, DE and Theresa Keating (Jeff) of Hockessin, DE; her grandchildren, Jessica Sollenberger (Chad), Kristen Mendenhall, Amanda Thompson (Steven), Joshua Brown (Abigail), Jack Hagerty (Gabby), Kevin Hagerty (Brittany), Tessa and Kyla Keating; her great grandchildren, Maggie and Eric Sollenberger; and her grandchildren, Braden Mendenhall, Delaney, Madison Thompson, Jaxon, Bren Chorman, Ryland Brown, Aubriella, Leon, Kendal Hagerty and Jacy Lynn Hagerty.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mealey Funeral Home - Limestone (2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mealey Funeral Home (2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808).
