It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Wesley Hoag Jr. of Lewes, Delaware, born in Hackensack, New Jersey, who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elise Hoag (Mergler) and David Wesley Hoag, Sr.; and his felines, Coal and Pammy. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his feline Lily; his daughter Elizabeth Hoag; his granddaughter Elise; his daughter Jennifer Gonzalez (Raymond); his grandson Brodin; his sister Peggy Jensen (Ole); his sister-in-law Darcy Hopko; his nephew Jonathan Hopko (Amanda); and his nieces, Joanne Hardy, Mary-Lynne Lackner and Leigh Zwanka.
