He was predeceased by: his mother Lillian Jay; his wife Lois Gilpin (Lois Gilpin); his son Douglas Gilpin; and his daughter-in-law Karen Susette Gilpin. He is survived by: his partner Burrill Haskell; and his sons, Craig Gilpin (Kimberly) of Charleston, SC and Gary Gilpin (Curtis).
