She was predeceased by: her parents, Alston "Pete" and Helen Rebecca Harmon (Jackson); her husband Frederick D. Thomas; her brother Barry N. Harmon Sr.; and her stepson Raymond Thomas Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Denise L. Johnson-Todd (James) of Flat Rock, NC, Sabrina D. Balentine of Millsboro, DE, Lelene R. Johnson of Lewes, DE, Paris N. Johnson and Charmain "Sherry" Thomas; her grandchildren, Michael W. Balentine, Jr. of Smyrna, DE, Raymond Thomas Jr. (Casey) of Apex, NC, Shawna Hoard of Pittsburgh, PA, Tristan Renae of Honolulu, HI, Kyle G. Johnson (Jasmine) and Paris A. Johnson of Alexandria, VA; her siblings, Faye Blanks (Bernie) and Tyrone Harmon (Phyllis); and her friends, Marilyn Jackson, Beatrice Johnson, Doris Winsley, Sistie Arnold and Margaret Coursey. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a Celebration of Life will take place later in the summer or when it will be safe for friends and family to attend.
