He was predeceased by: his parents, William Downey and Mable Niblett (Davis). He is survived by: his wife Donna J. Downey of Laurel; his daughter Brooke Romanko (Jordan) of Bridgeville; his grandsons, Noah Townsend and Andrew Romanko; and his sisters, Sandra Downey of Laurel, Tina Niblett of Seaford and Denise Niblett of Magnolia.
