It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen D. Ames of Laurel, Delaware, born in State College, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 7, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Tate Ames and Frances Silsbee; his son Adam B. Naugle; and his sister Susan Ames. He is survived by: his wife Deanna Ames (Hawn); his children, Lori J. Naugle Pifer (Charles) of State College, PA and Michael R. Halpenny, Jr. (Crystal Knauer); his siblings, Scott Ames (Sandy) of Windsor, VA and Kathy Ames of Lewistown, PA; his brothers-in-law, Dale, Duane Hawn, Doug and David Hawn; and his grandchildren, Abby, Shane Halpenny, Kanden and Cole Pifer.
